Less than one day ago, in the early morning hours of Fri., Aug. 2, 2013, as he was traveling from the TNA Impact tapings (spoilers here) in Wichita Falls, Texas, Kurt Angle was pulled over by police and arrested for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated.
He was booked and released on $2,000 bond.
It was the latest in a long series of issues with the former Olympic gold medalist, who has had a well documented drug problem that cost him his spot with WWE and has plagued him throughout his run with TNA, including multiple arrests since 2006.
He broke his silence the way everyone seems to these days, via Twitter, and said he would be seeking help. Later, he expanded on that in another series of tweets, going so far as to say he's entering a rehabilitation facility immediately:
I am blessed to have the support of my family, my friends and my company. In light of recent events I will immediately be entering a

continued support. I am confident that in taking these steps I can begin to address necessary changes in my life.

Let's hope Angle finally gets the help he's always needed and can get clean for good this time.
