TNA releases Jesse Sorensen

TNA continues the bloodletting, this time releasing Jesse Sorensen, a move that could be even more disastrous for the company's already tarnished public image.

ImpactWrestling.com

We know TNA is having financial issues, including wrestlers getting their payments late, which could go as far up as Hulk Hogan himself. The decision to take Impact on the road and out of the friendly -- and relatively cheap -- confines of Universal Studios in Florida has proved too costly for a promotion that isn't bringing in nearly enough money to offset the added expenditures.

So far, the company's way of dealing with it has been a wide-scale bloodletting of its talent roster.

That includes releasing Crimson, Joey Ryan, Christian York, Taeler Hendrix, Tara, Madison Rayne, Matt Morgan, Doc, D-Lo Brown, Bruce Prichard, and an assorted list of office workers and executives.

Now we can add one more to the list and this one isn't going to do anything to help the company's already tarnished public image.

Yes, that's the same Jesse Sorensen who broke his neck during a match with Zema Ion last year and has spent his time healing working in production while plotting and planning his comeback. Sadly, it won't happen with TNA, if it happens at all.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and Dixie Carter are all still chugging right along just fine, even if they shouldn't be.
