TNA Impact spoilers for April 18 in Corpus Christi

Get complete spoilers for the episode of TNA Impact that is set to air on April 18, 2013, from Corpus Christi, Texas, that was taped last night.

Now that TNA has taken Impact on tour, the schedule calls for one live show immediately followed by a taping for the show set to air the very next week on Spike TV. Well, the promotion was live in Corpus Christi, Texas, last night (April 11, 2013) with what turned out to be a fine two hours (click here and here for the live blog, results, and reactions) before taping next week's (April 18) show.

Here are spoilers (via Prowrestling.net):

-- Mickie James def. Miss Tessmacher with ODB once again assuming the role of referee. I guess that means she's been demoted from Knockouts tag team champion to referee without anyone noticing. Finish was said to be sloppy with a botchy roll up but the match good.

-- Garett Biscoff & Wes Briscoe def. Kurt Angle thanks to, you guessed it, interference from Aces and 8s, who cut a promo afterwards.

-- It was announced that the "referee cam" would debut for the triple threat X-Division match and it seems that will be the case for every X-Division match going forward.

-- Kenny King def. Zema Ion and Petey Williams with the crowd reportedly fighting burnout by this point.

-- Devon vs. Magnus was supposed to happen but didn't because Aces and 8s destroyed Magnus before the match could even start with a powerbomb on the stage before Samoa Joe made the save. I guess it's not much of a save if the guy still gets laid out.

-- Bad Influence, Austin Aries & Bobby Roode, and Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez had a segment that apparently died a slow death and the new tag champs, even in what should be considered their own market, had no heat.

-- Devon def. Samoa Joe after more interference from Aces and 8s. Joe took a post-match beatdown from the group and Devon nearly started an issue in the crowd after when throwing popcorn on a young child.

-- AJ Styles def. James Storm, and apparently got "you still got it" chants in the process. That's how ridiculous that chant can get. Bad Influence came out to once again appeal to Styles but were ignored like every other week before Aces and 8s once again just started beating the shit out of everyone because chaos.

-- Bully Ray was out for a promo and as they were apparently still beating on Storm, Sting hit to a big pop. This set up a six-man tag team main event despite an earlier announcement that it would be Ray vs. Sting.

-- Sting & James Storm & Joseph Park def. Bully Ray & Devon & Doc after all the babyfaces hit their finishers.

That's the show, Cagesiders. Sound good to you?
