AJ Styles vs. Bully Ray Bound for Glory rematch set for Impact this week

This is the rematch!

ImpactWrestling.com

This past Sunday night at Bound for Glory, TNA's biggest pay-per-view (PPV) event of the year, AJ Styles pinned Bully Ray to win the heavyweight championship despite repeated interference from the likes of both the Aces and 8s and company President Dixie Carter.

Now, Styles is going to make Carter pay. Or at least that's what he said his plan was before winning the title.

First, though, he's going to have to defend it. Indeed, Carter announced in a video recently that the rematch will take place this coming Thursday night on Impact from Salt Lake City, Utah, and she is going to ensure Styles loses the strap:

Considering the fact that TNA is in the shape its in right now, this is probably the right move. Plus, there isn't another PPV to prep for in three to four weeks. The next live PPV won't come until early next year.

Best to announce the rematch early in the week and hope it helps pop a rating for Spike TV on Thursday night.

That is, of course, if you Cagesiders are interested in a rematch.
