TNA hits the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida, again tonight (Jan. 13, 2013) for the first of its "Big Four" pay-per-view (PPV) events of the year, Genesis. The show will be headlined by a heavyweight championship match, as Jeff Hardy defends his title against both of his most recent rivals, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries.
Instead of a traditional triple threat match, though, this one is elimination, as stipulated by Impact Wrestling General Manager Hulk Hogan. That means, of course, that it's possible Hardy could be knocked out first and Aries and Roode could continue their awesome little program one-on-one.
But don't count on it.
Everything looks set for a great match and another successful Hardy title defense before he moves on to different things and Roode and Aries continue the feud they've been building. Or, as is my hope, hook up for what would be the second most entertaining tag team on the roster.
Either way, it should be a good main event.
