TNA Impact results and live blog for Dec. 13: The Final Resolution fallout show

TNA returns to Spike TV tonight (Dec. 13, 2012) with its latest episode of Impact Wrestling, featuring all the fallout from the Final Resolution pay-per-view (PPV) this past Sunday night in Orlando.

TNA Impact Wrestling comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Dec. 13, 2012) from the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida, featuring all the fallout from the Final Resolution pay-per-view (PPV) this past Sunday night.

On tonight's show, Velvet Sky is advertised as returning to action against Madison Rayne, Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries will continue their issue while Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan figure out what their thing is all about, and AJ Styles continues down the dark path of failure.

All that and more.

It all goes down tonight starting at 8 p.m. ET on Spike TV so remember to check back right here to follow along with the live blog as it all goes down.

Bobby Roode enters.

Roode says that he is pissed off. He considers himself a very savvy businessman and he made a very lucrative investment in winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He says it didn't happen. Roode made a deal with Aces & Eights and a deal is a deal. He wants answers from Aces & Eights.

DOC and Devon enter.

Devon says a better deal was made. Roode is upset and wants to know who made that deal, but Devon says that it stays within the club. Devon says they cannot tell him now, but he may get his answer later tonight.

Jeff Hardy and James Storm here.

Hardy and Storm are tired of playing detective and want to fight. Storm and Hardy clear DOC and Devon out of the ring and into the arms of their fellow gang members.

Hardy and Storm stand triumphant in the ring and soak in some cheers.


Preview of "Championship Thursday" next week for the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Velvet Sky will be in deliberation and she seems pleased.

However, the pigeons are antsy and need to be let loose, so that will happen after the break.

Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Sky

The two are fired up and get into a little war of words before the match.

Sky putting Rayne into every corner. Hard whip and slamming the head of Rayne into the turnbuckles. Snapmare in the middle of the ring and a kick to the back. Running neckbreaker and dropkick earns a nearfall.

Madison turns the tide with a clothesline. Rayne steps on the hair and pulls Sky up. And once again, taking advantage of the five count. Rayne choking Sky on the second rope. Facebuster by Rayne and she puts the thighs around Sky's face, ramming her face in the mat repeatedly for two nearfalls.

Sky with a kick to the face and turning the tide. Facebreaker after facebreaker on the knee. Clotheslines and a back elbow follow. Running bulldog by Sky. Sky with the butterfly facebuster.

Sky takes home the win with that move.


Kurt Angle with Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff backstage.

The younger men will be in a tag match tonight. They are ready to get a cup of coffee and get going.

Angle does a spot of 5 Hour Energy and we go to break.


Christopher Daniels and Kazarian backstage.

They seem pretty happy with what happened on Sunday to AJ Styles.


Team TNA vs. Aces & Eights match from Final Resolution recapped.


Robbie E and Robbie T vs. Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff

T with the powerslam on Brisco.

E is tagged in and starts beating Brisco down in the corner. Brisco starts fighting back with strikes, but T gets involved and E gets a drop toehold. Ref is distracted with Garrett and the phantom tag goes down.

T stays in and locks in the bear hug on Brisco. Brisco almost out, but E goes to knock down Garrett.

Another phantom tag has E in. He puts Brisco down and goes up top, but he almost eats the foot of Brisco. He breaks, but Brisco with the elbow.

Bischoff in. He starts putting the boots to E and hits a flapjack. T with a cheap shot from behind that knocks Bischoff down.

T tags in and sends Bischoff into the ropes, but Brisco with the blind tag. Bischoff clotheslines E out of the ring and turns around to hit a jawbreaker on T.

Brisco up top and comes down with a crossbody on T into a pinfall for the win.

The team celebrates as Angle watches at ringside, but Angle is then taken out by getting struck in the knee by an Aces & Eights member wielding a pipe.

Brisco and Bischoff go to help as we break.


Angle backstage with the trainer.

Tara and Jesse join Brooke Hogan in her office.

Tara says that Jesse will be facing Bully Ray, but "A-list" celebrities need to stick together. Tara also wants to pick out her opponent for next week.

Brooke Hogan tells her to go away to her grocery store signings as she will find out next week.

Kenny King backstage.

He says he learned from his loss at Final Resolution and will be ready for Rob Van Dam tonight.


James Storm and Jeff Hardy vs. Aces & Eights

DOC and one of the big guys from the group.

So, we'll call him Biggie.

DOC and Storm start. DOC muscling Storm into the corner, but Storm fights out and lands a clothesline. Arm wrench in for Storm.

Hardy in and he gets a shot in on the arm. DOC lands a strike and scurries to his corner.

Biggie in and Hardy using his quickness to stifle him. Headscissors off a float over in the corner sends Biggie outside. DOC goes down to help out, but Hardy with a running clothesline off the apron.

Hardy and Storm in control as we break.

Back and DOC in with Hardy. DOC runs into the boot of Hardy as he locks the rope. Biggie comes to clock Hardy with a huge clothesline. The group double teams Hardy.

Hardy outside and a brawl ensues as Storm attacks DOC and Biggie attacks Hardy.

Back inside and DOC and Hardy are still legal. Hardy in the corner and DOC unloading with all sorts of punches, putting together combos.

Biggie in. He works the grounded Hardy with power offense, then corners him as well. Jabs unloaded to the head of Hardy.

DOC in and choking Hardy in the corner. DOC dragging Hardy around and gets in the face of Storm, prompting the ref to get distracted and allow the double team.

Biggie in off a phantom tag. He holds Hardy down in a front headlock to prevent any sort of tag. Jawbreaker from Hardy. Biggie drags Hardy to his corner.

DOC in with a big boot on Hardy that puts him down. DOC stepping on the throat of Hardy. Stomps to all parts of the body. Elbow drop on the back of Hardy. Side headlock from DOC and Hardy struggling to get back to his feet. Hardy back up and unloading with body shots. Kick to the face of DOC. Hardy inching to Storm, but DOC with an uppercut to Storm. He drags Hardy back to the corner with a leglock.

Biggie in and he starts laying in on the downed Hardy for a nearfall.

Blatant choke from Biggie on the mat.

Hardy tossed to the outside. DOC sends him into the barricade as Storm gets tangled up with the referee yet again.

Hardy tossed inside and Biggie with an nearfall.

DOC in and a splash gets a nearfall after Storm breaks it.

The two buck at each other, but DOC gets the sleeper in before Hardy comes to. Hardy cornered, but he hits the back elbow. Whisper in the Wind lands and Hardy looking to tag. DOC catches him again with a stomp and goes back to his corner.

Biggie in and stomping on Hardy. Kicks to the ribs as well. Hardy scoots through the legs and Biggie has the legs. Hardy with the step-over kick.

Storm in and he cleans house. DOC knocked off the apron and Storm up top. Crossbody lands on Biggie for a nearfall.

Hardy tagged in. Storm with a splash and Hardy with a Poetry in Motion.

Aces & Eights come to try to save their group, but Hardy and Storm easily dispose of them. Devon eats a Eye of the Storm.

Hardy and Storm with their respective finishers.

Hardy with the pinfall for the win.

Aces & Eights hits the ring and Devon announces that Austin Aries was the man who countered Bobby Roode's offer.


Hulk Hogan backstage.

He is looking for Aries. Bobby Roode comes up and is very upset. Hogan says Roode will be in the same boat, but Roode counters that Aries ruined his main event.

Aries is on the phone. Hogan says he will give Aries a chance to speak, but he better come clean.

Hogan tells Roode to back off and Roode wants Hogan to bring down the hammer on Aries.


AJ Styles will speak next.


Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles recap at Final Resolution.


AJ Styles out.

Styles says that he has no idea what has been wrong with him lately. He says he won't be going anywhere, but he doesn't know where he is going. He doesn't know what the next step is. Styles says that he been a corporate guy and he has forgotten about himself. Styles says that this nothing to do with anyone and this have everything to do with AJ Styles.

Styles says he is tired of being the corporate janitor and doing the right thing. Styles says he will be doing his own thing from now on.


Dixie Carter backstage.

AJ Styles walks up and she asks what is wrong with him.

He tosses his shirt to you and walks away.


Daniels and Kaz backstage.

Daniels is pleased that AJ left, saying he sent him packing.

Kaz settles him down and tells him to just wait when he shows him the Christmas present he got him.


Rob Van Dam vs. Kenny King

The two lockup and King with the side headlock. RVD struggling, but he gets out with a hammerlock. King with one of his own. RVD with a leg sweep and the two roll out back to their feet. RVD tries a strike, but King has it scouted. Leg kick by RVD and King counters, but eats a spin kick. RVD posing to the crowd, but King runs up and knocks RVD outside.

King with a spinning corkscrew outside.

King with a nearfall inside.

Snap suplex and float over into full mount with some strikes. Another nearfall for King.

RVD in the corner and King sends him into the opposite corner. Giant flying back splash and King outside to pose for the crowd. Nearfall back inside.

King working RVD in the corner with strikes. King charges, but RVD with a wheel kick. King cornered and RVD with another wheel kick. RVD up top and hits a leg drop for a nearfall.

King ducks an RVD kick. King running and hits a hangman's neckbreaker as he jumps to the outside. Back inside with a springboard swinging neckbreaker.

RVD in the corner and King charges, but he runs into the turnbuckle. Split leg moonsault misses for RVD. King goes for a move, but RVD with the Northern Lights suplex for a nearfall.

RVD with a step-over kick. He hits a leg drop and goes up top. RVD is met by King, but pushes him down. King with a somersault back to his feet, but RVD with the crossbody. King rolls through for the pinfall attempt.

Feet on the ropes and King wins.


Bully Ray backstage with Hulk Hogan.

Bully asks if Hogan has had a change of heart. Hogan says that Bully should have came to tell him about him and Brooke. Bully asks what makes Hogan think that he is at all invested in Brooke. Bully says that when he was next to Brooke on the couch, she was apologizing for the way Hulk has been acting.

Bully just summarizes that he was doing the right thing and he just wanted Hulk's respect.

The two still don't reach an impasse and the tension is still there as Bully walks out.


Jesse vs. Bully Ray

Bully chasing Jesse around the ring.

Match is official and Bully clubs Jesse down. Clubbing shots. Huge clothesline by Bully puts Jesse down. Forearm to the back of the head. Jesse off the ropes and shoulder block by Bully. Right hand from Bully drops Jesse. Bully tries to pick Jesse up, but Jesse gets a chop to the throat. Chops to the chest of Bully, but Bully plants him with a big boot. Bully working Jesse in the corner and gets a HUGE chop. Repeat that in another corner.

Tara in the ring and pleading with Bully not to hurt Jesse. Bully raises his hand at Tara and she ducks and turns around. Bully spanks her to send her out.

Jesse is mad. Clubbing shots to Bully put him down. Huge forearm shivers from Jesse. Dropkick by Jesse and he shows off the pecs.

Bully is reopened on the forehead.

Jesse with a dropkick once again. Bully with a chop from his knees, but Jesse comes up with a huge clothesline. More shots from Jesse. He chokes Bully in the corner with his boot. Elbow drop to the head of Bully. Right hand by Jesse. Bully on the second rope and Tara chokes him on the rope. Jesse with another dropkick. He tries a leg drop, but Bubba Cutter lands.

Bully wins.


Aries will be up next.


Austin Aries is here.

Aries says that he was indeed the man who trumped Bobby Roode's offer. He knows Roode is upset, but he needs to know that if Roode money talks, Aries money sings. Aries says that Aces & Eights get paid to fight battles. Aries says that Hulk Hogan had Aries fight his battle for him against Aces & Eights just a few months ago. Aries will keep stirring the pot until he gets his title back.

Jeff Hardy enters.

Hardy says Aries is pathetic and all he has to do is ask like a man.

Aries says that he won't have to climb a ladder or do something else ridiculous.

Hardy proposes Aries vs. Hardy III for the TNA title on "Championship Thursday" next week.

Aries says that he doesn't want to do it in front of Hardy's idiot fans. Aries says that he will operate on his own time. Hardy says that he always gives the fans what they want and clocks Aries.

The two begin to brawl and it leads to Hardy hitting a Twist of Fate. Hardy up top, but Aries scoots outside.

Hardy is ready inside the ring and Aries seems to be warming up to the idea.

The two locked in a staredown as we fade to black.
