TNA 'Impact' results and live blog for Nov. 8: The Turning Point go home show

TNA returns to Spike TV tonight (Nov. 8, 2012) with its latest episode of Impact Wrestling, featuring all the final angles to the Turning Point pay-per-view scheduled for this Sunday night. We've got complete results and a live blog right here.

TNA Impact Wrestling comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Nov. 8, 2012) from the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida, featuring the go home show to the Turning Point pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for this Sunday night.

On tonight's show, Sting and Kurt Angle will team up to take on two members of the Aces and 8s. Devon and Festus perhaps?

Also announced is a match pitting Bobby Roode vs. AJ Styles in a preview of their encounter this coming Sunday night that will also include James Storm.

TNA IMPACT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR NOV. 8

Nolan in.

Recap of last week's episode.

Aces and 8s talking to the artist formerly known as Luke Gallows, calling him "Doc." It stands for "Director of Chaos." They tell him that he isn't even a fully-patched member, but that he needs to make things right tonight.

Doc agrees.

Broadcast is live.

James Storm joins the announce team to call Bobby Roode vs. AJ Styles.

AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode

Lockup and Styles with the arm wringer. Roode reverses into one of his own. Turns into a front headlock for Roode. AJ flips out and grabs a hammerlock. Roode turns a hammerlock into a side headlock. AJ down on his knees. Roode sent into the ropes and Styles leapfrogging and ducking, but he runs into the elbow of Roode. Roode charges a cornered Styles, but Styles floats over and nails Roode with a dropkick.

Roode moves to the outside. Style follows and Roode tries to trip him off the apron. Styles lands on his feet and lands a punch. He sends Roode into the steel steps, then rolls him back inside.

Bodyslam by Styles, followed by a kneedrop. Earns Styles a nearfall.

Roode pushes Styles into the corner and unloads on punches and chops. Styles backs Roode into the corner with punches and chops of his own. He whips Roode into the opposite corner and then proceeds with a back bodydrop. Roode gets back to his feet and starts landing on Styles. Roode's whip is reversed and Styles sends him into the corner. Styles misses a splash and Roode clobbers him with a clothesline from behind. Nearfall.

Roode in control as we move to break.

We are back and Roode sent into the corner. Shoulder ram by Styles. Styles gets sent into the corner, but he floats over. Roode catches him and hits him with a hotshot on the top rope. Roode goes up top and gets the neckbreaker for a nearfall.

Roode stomping Styles and working him in the mat, only to earn a nearfall.

AJ gets back to his feet and is clobbering Roode with strikes. Styles tries a whip, but Roode turns it and whips Styles into the corner really hard. Earns a nearfall.

Roode with a snapmare and turns it into a neck crank. He then turns it into a sleeper. Styles works back up to his feet and gets out by wrenching the arm. Roode tries a strike, but Styles cracks Roode with an enzuigiri, putting both men down. Roode in the corner and Styles gets the splash. Forearms and chops follow. Styles tries to whip Roode, but Roode sends him into the corner. Roode gets bodydropped to the apron, but follows with a hangman's neckbreaker. Roode going up top, but Styles follows with strikes. Hurricanrana from the top by Styles lands for a nearfall.

Styles wants the Styles Clash, but Roode sends him off. Styles charges to put in more offense, but Roode gets the spinebuster. Roode tries some offense, but AJ gets a nearfall on a rollup.

AJ double legs Styles and tries to turn it into a Styles Clash. Roode gets out and Styles tries a Pele, but misses. Roode hits the Fisherman's Suplex, but only gets a nearfall.

Roode moves outside to get the chair, but Storm gets off of commentary to prevent it. Styles uses this to hit a springboard crossbody to Roode on the outside. Styles gets distracted by Storm as he gets up on the apron. Styles tries a springboard attack, but Roode trips him up and he ricochets off the ropes.

Roode gets the victory.

Austin Aries moving around backstage.

He meets up with Hulk Hogan. Aries tells him that he doesn't want a ladder match, as his job isn't to climb ladders. Hogan says that if Aries doesn't take the shot, he'll find someone who will.

Aries is upset that Hogan is another man drinking the Jeff Hardy Kool Aid.

Kurt Angle giving Wes Brisco some advice backstage.

Sting comes up and he hypes Angle up for their match with Aces and 8s tonight.

The trio walk out.

Joseph Park in the ring.

He says it has been a rough week for him. He learned bodies shouldn't go through tables, but he is happy that he unmasked a member of Aces and 8s. He says everyone at his law firm advised against calling out Aces and 8s, but he says he wants it as a man. He begs Hulk Hogan for the match.

And the man himself enters.

Hulk Hogan says Park did the company proud by unmasking a member of Aces and 8s. Hogan says Park got lucky last week, since he knows he is not a wrestler. Hogan says Park being in a match is a liability.

Bully Ray enters.

Bully says he didn't want to come out here and interrupt Hogan, but he knew that he was going to say "no" to Park. Bully says that he is sticking up for Park, saying not only is he a lawyer, but he is very tough. He says he has heart and that Park wants Aces and 8s, just as badly as he does. Bully says he believes in Park.

Hogan says that he is running the company and he is calling the shots.

Bully tells Hogan that the crowd wants to see Park take on Aces and 8s. He says those are Hogan's fans. He asks why Hogan would say "no" when it feels better to say "yes?"

Hogan says that he is giving him this one chance.

TNA Knockouts Champion Tara with her boyfriend Jesse, who brags about all the moves he claims to have hit on ODB last week.

ODB tells that "TM-Douche" that he got her with a schoolgirl last week and that her and Eric Young are the only power couple in TNA. She challenges the couple to a handicap match.

Tara and Jesse discuss how gross ODB is and how much hand sanitizer they will need.

AJ Styles backstage, upset that James Storm got involved in the match.

James Storm said it was his call to come out and scout the match. He promises to kick the face of "the face of TNA" in on Sunday.

ODB vs. Tara & Jesse

ODB clotheslines Tara and unloads chops to the chest of Jesse. She gives Tara a chop as well. ODB cracks their heads together. ODB tries an attack, but the couple hits a double elbow. Jesse hits a bodyslam and Tara chokes ODB. The couple sends ODB into the ropes, but she boots Jesse in the face and sends Tara to the mat by her hair. Dropkick to Tara. Bodyslam by ODB on Jesse. She then bodyslams Tara onto Jesse. Jesse charges a cornered ODB, but he misses a splash. Tara is sent into the crotch of her boyfriend, making him sing a different key. Bronco buster on both.

ODB spears Tara and rolls her up for the win.

Jesse faking a punch at ODB, which leads Tara to hit her with a flask from behind. Widow's Peak is hit. The two pour the contents of the flask out on ODB, then proceed to play tonsil hockey.

She tells Young that he better be at Turning Point on Sunday to take on the couple.

The "Gut Check" judges deliberate backstage about Christian York.

Kurt Angle & Sting vs. Doc & Devon

Angle and Sting meet the two members on the outside and start a brawl. Sting and Doc going at it, while Devon and Angle square off. All men just trading punches on the outside of the ring. Angle puts Devon into the steps.

Sting puts Doc in the ring,

Sting with a DDT on Doc for a nearfall.

Sting tries to go off the ropes, but Devon holds him up. Sting hits him with a punch, but Doc clobbers him with a clothesline for a nearfall.

Doc follows with ground and pound.

Devon brought in and hits a jumping headbutt onto the torso of Sting. Devon working Sting in the corner with right hands, sending Sting to his back. Snapmare and fist drop earn Devon a nearfall.

Doc tagged in and the team gets a double shoulder bump. Doc follows with two elbow drops and gets a nearfall.

Doc with a suplex to another nearfall.

Doc puts in the sleeper on Sting. Sting gets up and works his way out, but Doc drops him with an elbow to keep the momentum on his side.

Devon tagged in and he hits a leg drop on Sting. He plays to the fans, then encourages Sting to tag his partner. He levels Angle off the apron and muscles Sting back to his corner.

Doc brought in and the double team works as the referee holds Angle back. Doc hits a splash to the downed Sting, but it only gets him a nearfall.

Sting comes back to fight, but Doc hits a punch and Devon gets in a cheap shot to put him down. Devon steps on the throat of Sting while Doc distracts the ref.

Devon brought in. He sends Sting into the ropes and hits the corkscrew elbow for a nearfall.

Doc brought back in and sends Sting back into the ropes. Sting and Doc both go for a clothesline and both land. Both men down and the ref starts a count.

Both men make tags, bringing in Devon and Angle. Angle gets a few clotheslines on Devon. Doc comes to try to save the day, but Angle hits a missile dropkick. Both members of Aces and 8s eat a German suplex. Angle hits the Angle Slam on Devon, but Doc breaks up the pin.

Sting hits a Scorpion Death Drop and Scorpion Death Lock on Doc.

And Devon gets the baseball bat and clocks Angle and Sting, giving them a DQ victory.

Bully Ray comes out to clothesline Devon. He gets the table, but Devon escapes. Bully takes chase to the parking lot.

Sting with a low blow to Doc and tries to powerbomb him through the table, but out come more members of Aces and 8s. They clobber Sting with a hammer and take Angle out. Doc puts Sting through the table and proceeds to clobber him with the hammer over and over.

Samoa Joe, Chavo Guerrero, and Hernandez come in to clear house.

Medics come to assist Sting out and the crowd goes quiet.

Back from break and Mike Tenay giving us the recap of what happened, presenting it as seriously as possible.

Taz and Bruce Pritchard give him two straight "yes" answers, giving him the contract.

Austin Aries looking for a loophole out of his match Sunday.

Brooke Hogan and Bully Ray are frantic over the Sting attack, but separate when Aries comes through.

Hulk Hogan worried sick over the phone about Sting.

Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan in the office of Hogan. Ryan wants Hogan to congratulate him on the win last week.

Hogan says there is no chance of that, then tells Morgan that he is barred from ringside on Sunday.

Magnus, Christopher Daniels, and Kazarian vs. Samoa Joe, Hernandez, and Chavo Guerrero

Brawl ensues in the ring, with Joe and the tag champs clearing the ring out in the end.

Dust settles and we get Chavo in with Daniels. Daniels taking punches from Chavo, then takes one each from Hernandez and Samoa Joe. Side suplex by Chavo earns him a nearfall.

Chavo with a strike to Daniels, putting him into the corner. Daniels gets whipped hard by Chavo. Chavo picks him up, but Daniels gets a knee and tags out to Kaz.

Kaz runs in and eats a drop toehold from Chavo.

Hernandez in. Chavo bodyslams Kaz, then Hernandez bodyslams Chavo onto Kaz. Hernandez gets a nearfall.

Hernandez goes for a side suplex, but Kaz flips out and lands a wheel kick.

Samoa Joe and Magnus are tagged in. Magnus ducks under a clothesline, but runs to the outside. Joe chases and Magnus goes to the ring. Daniels holds the leg and lets Magnus unload a few strikes. Tide turns and Joe starts landing the jabs. Daniels locks him up and Magnus again wears Joe down.

Daniels brought in and a brawl ensues between all members of the team.

The dust settles with Daniels and Joe on the inside. Daniels eats a pendulum kick in the corner. Joe with a bodyslam and a leg drop on Daniels.

Chavo in and he lands a slingshot splash, tagging in Hernandez.

Hernandez catches Daniels in a bearhug. Belly-to-belly follows, then a tag out to Chavo.

Chavo with a dropkick for a nearfall.

Chavo sent into the corner by Daniels, but Daniels is bodydropped to the apron. Chavo takes both him and Kaz out, but the team overwhelms him and Daniels takes him to the outside. He pummels him with strikes.

Kaz in with a swinging neckbreaker for a nearfall.

Magnus brought in and works Chavo in the corner with jabs. He whips Chavo hard into the opposite corner. Tags out to Daniels.

Daniels with a neckbreaker. He then does Gangnam Style, with his cover earning a nearfall.

Kazarian brought in. He gets a nearfall off a double team attack.

Kazarian locks in the surfboard on Chavo, but Chavo turns and kicks Kaz with his heel over and over. Kazarian with punches. Chavo off the ropes, evading a few Kaz attacks, then lands a headscissors. Kaz tries to prevent a tag, but Chavo rolls out to bring in Hernandez.

And Hernandez cleans house.

Hernandez puts Kaz up for the Border Toss, but Daniels pulls his partner off. This leads to a double suplex by Hernandez off a failed attempt by Kaz and Daniels.

Magnus and Joe are tagged in. The two counter each other's offense until Joe lands a powerslam. Magnus sends Joe to the corner, but he runs into a Rock Bottom. Daniels breaks the pin and sends Joe outside.

Hernandez sends Daniels outside. He follows with a dive to the outside on Daniels.

Back inside, Chavo gets the bulldog on Magnus. He goes up top, but Kazarian takes him off. Joe moves inside and levels Magnus. He puts him up top for the Musclebuster, but Kaz and Daniels trip up Joe and plant him on the mat. Magnus goes up for an elbow drop and lands it.

Magnus gets the pin for his team.

Roode backstage.

He is happy that Styles and Storm at each other's throats, giving him an advantage on Sunday.

Aries is here.

He says that Hardy is calling himself the best wrestler in the world, which is overplayed.

He mentions how phrases, such as "best in the world," are overplayed. Sneaky, sneaky.

Aries says that Hardy is arguably the greatest daredevil and risk-taker this business has ever seen. He says Hardy has seen the highest highs and has suffered the hardest falls. He says that Sunday, Hardy will fall and never get up. He says that he will beat Hardy.

Aries then berates the crowd for pulling the "what?" chants with him.

He tells Hardy that, after Sunday, he will melt Hardy's belt down to a belt buckle, so Hardy's face can be right next to his crotch. Aries says Hogan told him to surrender the TNA title to Hardy, but Aries tells him to come down and take it form him.

And Hardy enters.

The fight is on.

Aries gets Hardy up for a Brainbuster, but Hardy turns it into a Twist of Fate. Aries slips out.

Hardy calls for the belt holder to come down from the ceiling. He puts both belts on, climbs the ladder that is in the ring, and poses at the top.

Aries yanks the ladder down.

He places it on top of Hardy and poses with the belts at the top of the ladder.

Fade to black.

End.
