Last night's (Nov. 22, 2012) episode of Impact Wrestling saw TNA make two new matches official for its upcoming Final Resolution pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for Sun., Dec. 9, 2012, at the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida.
It's a good thing, too, considering next week's episode of Impact will be the go home show.
The first new match made official:
Oh yes, folks, we're getting yet another match on PPV between Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles. It's interesting, though, that the company is comfortable promoting it with the tagline "one final time."
The chances of that being the case are planted firmly between slim and none but I suppose it works for the purposes they're using it for. And the match itself should deliver.
The other match made official:
Mickie James will challenge Tara for the Knockouts championship. She earned the shot by winning a battle royal in her return after three months away to get surgery done to remove a benign mass. Don't be surprised if she wins the title, too, though she didn't actually appear on television last night.
There's only so much time to go around. Hell, TV Champion Samoa Joe and X-Division Champion Rob Van Dam didn't appear either.
Anyway, here's the updated line up for Final Resolution:
- Jeff Hardy vs. Bobby Roode
- Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles
- Tara vs. Mickie James
