If an Aces and 8s member gets unmasked but no one recognizes him, was he really unmasked at all?
Last night's (Nov. 1, 2012) episode of Impact Wrestling featured more of the same with the invading stable of jobbers, as the group saw another member reveal his face during the course of a brawl with Joseph Park(s).
And it was Drew Hankinson, better known as Luke Gallows of CM Punk's Straight Edge Society. Or even Festus, the big lug in WWE who would be catatonic at all times until the bell rang, at which point he would go apeshit and destroy everyone in his path. Until the bell rang again of course.
The issue with the unmasking in TNA was that seemingly no one in the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida, had clue one as to who the hell Hankinson actually is, and that includes the announcers, Mike Tenay and Jeremy Borash, who dropped these gems on commentary:
"I know that guy!"
"That's a big man with an even bigger reputation."
"An enforcer for some of the biggest names in the business unmasked as a member of the Aces and 8s."
Can we just kill this thing dead already?
