Bad breaks for a pair of recently released wrestlers

Next Generation Wrestling’s Halloween show proved to be very cursed, very evil.

Danhausen was among the talent who found out last week they were being released by Ring of Honor. Around the same time, Mance Warner finally secured the release he’d requested from MLW last year.

On to bigger and better things for both popular independent wrestlers, right? We thought so, but then Next Generation Wrestling’s Halloween show happened.

In Knoxville, Tennessee last night (Oct. 31), both men suffered leg injuries while working what Danhausen would surely describe as a very cursed, very evil booking. The soon-to-be former ROH star later revealed he’d broken both his tibia and fibia in a tag match with Warhorse against Jason Kincaid and Facade.

No confirmation yet on Warner’s diagnosis, but Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp tweeted that it looked “to be more serious”, and while they reported it as an ankle injury, he “was seen grabbing his knee as well.”

Get well soon, fellas. Wrestling needs Old Mancer AND that Danhausen.
