Braun Strowman makes his new name official

All signs pointed to the pro wrestler formerly known as Braun Strowman landing in Impact last weekend. Then he didn’t.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t have some news about Adam Scherr. That’s Braun’s real name, and the name he’s been working under in the handful of bookings he’s taken since leaving WWE. Those Bound For Glory reports indicated Scherr would show up in Impact with a new nickname, and in announcing what he says will probably be his last date of 2021, the former Universal champion confirms it.

Say hello to “The Titan” Adam Scherr...

It’s a solid nickname, both conveying the former professional strongman’s impressive size and making a sly reference to the only wrestling outfit he’d ever worked for prior to his release earlier this year (WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut are known as Titan Towers, as the company once did business as Titan Sports).

Let us know what you think of Braun’s new handle. and head to Waukesha, Wisconsin for Blizzard Brawl on Dec. 4 if you want to see The Titan in action.
