Mox is finally going to Bloodsport (knock wood)

We’re trying to temper our excitement, since we’ve been here twice before.

But, damnit... MOXLEY! BLOODSPORT! HOO-F’N-RAH

A fight at Bloodsport was among the first bookings announced for Jon Moxley after he left WWE behind. His no-ropes battle with Josh Barnett was nixed along with his All Out match against Kenny Omega by a recurrence of staph in his elbow.

It was rescheduled for WrestleMania 36 week in Tampa and, well, you know.

Now, pandemic or no*, the AEW World champ is set for Bloodsport 2020 on Oct. 11. It’s going down at 8 p.m. Eastern at Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, and will stream on Fite. His opponent isn’t mentioned, but this has always been about a fight with Barnett, so...

How do you feel about the third try at bringing some Explicit Mox Violence to Bloodsport?

* Presumably this is an open-air venue, but I can’t find that confirmed anywhere. Marion County Fairgrounds & Events Center is a large property and offers several possibilities, but Bloodsport isn’t even listed on the events calendar at their website or Facebook page.
