This should bring up a spirited debate about cruiserweight wrestling in 2019.
Enzo Amore is back, again, and this time he’s getting in the ring. Since being fired by WWE in Jan. 2018, nZo has been everywhere.
When not attempting to fight Joey Janela outside a Blink 182/Lil Wayne concert, nZo was working indie appearances with Jon Moxley and Big Cass.
Now the wrestler formerly known as Enzo Amore is making his official in-ring return.
I’m going back to the #MidHudsonCivicCenter the same place where I got in the ring for the last time, and I’m going back to defend what I never lost. I’ll haven’t agreed upon an opponent yet..... but I have a few in mind. #BestCruiserWeightInTheWorld https://t.co/5LDyF5sHxw pic.twitter.com/FrhxlD3b3q

Northeast Wrestling Prison Break takes place on Friday, Aug. 16 from the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York.
nZo’s last match in WWE or anywhere took place in Jan. 2018 at a 205 Live house show. On that night Amore defeated Cedric Alexander, with Nia Jax serving as the special guest referee.
