What Jon Moxley was doing instead of attending the G1 press conference

As we know, even though Jon Moxley is competing in the G1 Climax this year, his contract with All Elite Wrestling kept him from participating in any of the events New Japan is doing in Dallas this weekend to kick-off the tournament. AEW doesn’t want one of their main eventers working an event happening in the United States, that will be televised live, for one of their competitors.

However, AEW contracts seem to be flexible about more than just international bookings. They also allow for non-televised appearances at independent shows here in the U.S. We already saw that when Mox worked a couple dates for Northeast Wrestling last month. And last night (July 5), while the other 15 men who will compete in the G1 were meeting the press and getting ready for tonight’s opener at the American Airlines Center, the Death Rider was crashing a show in his hometown of Las Vegas.

Officially, his match with Impact/AAA’s Killer Kross ended in a no contest.

The two chaos-loving maniacs ended up joining forces to take out security, because why not?

No word on if Renee Young was on-hand for this double date with Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux.

This will likely be the last of these for Mox for a while. He’s gotta fly to Japan, and the remainder of the G1 should keep him tied up into August. If you want to see this fight, Future Stars of Wrestling’s Natural Born Killers show is available to order on Fite here.
