2018 pro wrestling is weird, folks.
And nowhere is it weirder than here on the biggest weekend of the year. At WrestleCon’s morning show today, Pancakes & Piledrivers (co-promoted by AAW, Fight Club: Pro, and Wrestling Revolver), Besties in the World (the team of Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett) retained their AAW Tag Team Championship in a three-way ladder match over the Rascals (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) and Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis), and you can check out some of that action right here before we get weird.

Titles in hand, Fitchett decided he needed to call somebody out... and that that somebody should be former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette.
But surely Mr. Arquette isn’t gonna show up, right? Wrong.

Not only did he take the match, he pointed out he’s never been pinned and took a moment to remind folks that he didn’t kill WCW, WWE killed WCW.
No date has been set for the matchup at this time, but AAW’s next show, Never Say Die is on April 13. Maybe there?
There you have it, folks
Excited to see David Arquette lace the boots up one more time, Cagesiders?
