Indie stars deny reports they’ve been offered WWE deals without using ‘fake news’

While it may be disappointing this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter report that indie standouts Keith Lee and Walter were offered WWE contracts to start at the Performance Center in May might not be true, props to the Texan and Austrian (respectively) big men for not using the term “fake news” in shooting it down.

Of course, refuting the story is exactly what you’d expect guys and gals who might be signing or even just talking to WWE to do before their deals are finalized and officially announced. But even if these are worked denials, I still want to honor their commitment to not using WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump’s catchphrase.
