Last Friday night in Los Angeles, actor David Arquette participated in a deathmatch against Nick Gage at Joey Janela’s LA Confidential show. It didn’t go so well!
During the match, a bloody, violent ... well ... deathmatch, Arquette was cut on the neck and, at one point, appeared to shoot on Gage. It was a real mess, and you can read all about the details of it here, and see photos of the carnage here.
Today, Arquette released the following statement on it:

It’s hard to have anything but respect for what Arquette has tried to do in his comeback to professional wrestling, including how he’s handling this now.
