What Culture Pro Wrestling’s had a tumultuous time of it lately.
The British indie relied heavily on YouTube ad revenue, and was hit hard by that Google-owned site’s decision to classify wrestling video as “restricted” content. Now, after some major behind-the-scenes staffing shake-ups, they’re relaunching in December as Defiant Wrestling. And ahead of that, they’re bringing in a big name for their October internet pay-per-view (iPPV).

Bennett is better known to WWE fans as Wade Barrett, NXT season 1 winner (back when it was a kayfabe reality competition), leader of The Nexus and later The Corre who was transformed into Bad News Barrett after that character got over on the web series The JBL and Cole Show.
His main roster run spanned from 2010 until his release in 2016. Since then, he’s been focused on an acting career, but always left the door open to working in wrestling.
Looks like the time is right. So, anyone excited to possibly see this again?
