World Wrestling Network announce full slate of WrestleMania weekend shows, including Progress vs. Evolve

WrestleMania week has become like wrestling Christmas, and 2017 isn't going to be any different as WWNLive have announced their shows for the weekend. Starting on Thursday, March 30th, and running up to Sunday afternoon, it's the biggest lineup in WWN history, and it's (almost) all going down in Orlando, Florida, at the Orlando Downtown Recreational Complex.

Thursday, March 30th

Evolve starts the long weekend with a bang at 8PM with their first show of the weekend.

Friday, March 31st

Progress makes their US and iPPV debuts at 12PM, followed by Evolve's second show at 4PM, Chikara at 8PM, and Kaiju Big Battel at midnight.

Saturday, April 1st

Shimmer's annual iPPV appearance kicks the biggest day of the week off at 12PM. The last two years this show has been a tournament of some sort of another, I'd expect another one this year. A second Chikara show follows at 4PM.

Not last and certainly not least, WWN's annual flagship show Mercury Rising is the indie main event of the weekend. And it's a big one this year, folks, because Mercury Rising 2017 (kicking off at 8PM) is subtitled Progress vs. Evolve. No, no, let's take another look at that. Enhance.

Progress vs. Evolve

Well, that is exciting! Two of the best independent wrestling promotions in the world today, the two that are at the forefront of NXT's increasing friendliness with the independent wrestling scene, and they're going head-to-head at Mercury Rising. My god.

And the weekend's not over! Beyond Wrestling will be returning to WWNLive iPPV for a midnight show as well!

Sunday, April 2nd

Yep, that's right, Sunday. We're approaching full wrestling overload, people. Full Impact Pro and American Combat Wrestling are having a tailgate show of sorts to lead into WrestleMania, location to be determined.

It's stacked, folks.

Tickets go on sale on Monday, August 22nd at I'm excited, are you excited? Share your plans for the weekend below, Cagesiders!
