Ronda Rousey found out Miesha Tate beat Holly Holm for the UFC Bantamweight title while at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla All-Star Weekend

New, comments

At several points in tonight's Miesha Tate vs. Holly Holm title fight at UFC 196, Mike Goldberg wondered what former Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey must have been thinking.

Probably something about Drew Galloway vs. Trevor Lee, seeing as how she was at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's All-Star Weekend 12, Night 2 in Reseda, California.

In fact, these pictures of her checking her phone are making the rounds, with the assumption being that she learned her old rival Tate now has the title Holm took from her via her phone inside American Legion Post #308.

A big pro wrestling fan, a star of WrestleMania 31 and a dream performer for WWE, Rousey has some history at PWG shows. It doesn't look like she got involved in any chop fests like she did in 2014 when she got one in on current NXT talent Christopher "Biff Busick" Gerard, though.

Maybe because her mind was elsewhere.

So while Rowdy Ronda waits to hear from Dana White about the future of UFC's women's scene, PWG can thank her for a lot of social media mentions tonight.
