Justin Gabriel books first date of his post-WWE career

PWS on Facebook

Well, that didn't take long.

Fresh off of his being granted his release from WWE, Justin Gabriel is already booked for this Saturday, January 31st's Pro Wrestling Syndicate (PWS) in Rahway, New Jersey.  Working under the name PJ Black, Gabriel will challenge for Amazing Red's Suicidal Six Way Championship with four other competitors.

The South African replaces AR Fox in the match for the Northeast independent promotion.  PWS has been making some moves on the indy scene with a self-funded regional television show that it also makes available via YouTube.  In addition to Gabriel's debut, the Saturday show will also boast names like Sabu, John Hennigan (John Morrison in WWE and currently Johnny Mundo on Lucha Underground), Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley, Raven and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

Still no word from Gabriel or anyone else about the circumstances behind his split with the 'E, but the fact that he is working again so quickly is a sign that there aren't too many hard feelings.  It's also an indicator that he won't have any trouble getting bookings - not that anyone thought that a talented worker with WWE gold on his résumé would.

Any of our tri-state area Cagesiders gonna check out the Darewolf this weekend - after you dig out of whatever snow you got, that is?
