Full match video of Evolve champ Drew Galloway (WWE's Drew McIntyre) defending against Roderick Strong

A lot of fans were surprised when WWE released Drew McIntyre in 2014. The Scotsman had the look, the workrate and the presence to a big star, and was even given a rub by Vince McMahon himself during his singles days, but left the company after being a role player in a jobber stable.

Working under his real surname Galloway on the international and independent scenes, Drew is showing signs of living up to the promise he showed as Intercontinental champ in WWE.

One promotion where he's done extremely well is in WWNLive's Evolve. Galloway is their main champ, and has defended his title against names like Jimmy Rave, Stevie Richards, Richocet and Rich Swann since winning the belt from Chris Hero.

To celebrate the new year and kick off what the company (who launched a streaming app and toured China during 2014) hopes will be an even more prosperous 2015, WWNLive has released the full video of a fun bout between the champ and Ring of Honor legend Roddy Strong from their September Evolve 35 show.

Give it a look and let us know what you think. And chime in on whether or not you think we'll see Galloway holding a title in a nationally televised promotion again, or if he'll stay among the ranks of the Young Bucks and AJ Styles as financially secure free agents.
