Impact embarks on the final event before they usher in the new TNA era in 2024. Final Resolution is coming in with the debut of Zack Sabre Jr. from NJPW as well as title fights for Tommy Dreamer and Bullet Club’s ABC.

The advertised lineup for Final Resolution on Saturday, December 9 includes:

  • Motor City Machine Guns vs. Josh Alexander & Zack Sabre Jr.
  • Trinity & Jordynne Grace vs. Deonna Purrazzo & Gisele Shaw
  • Rhino vs. Moose
  • Impact World Tag Team Championship: Ace Austin & Chris Bey (c) vs. Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards
  • “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Trey Miguel
  • Impact Digital Media Championship: Tommy Dreamer (c) vs. Deaner
  • Jake Something vs. Jason Hotch
  • Frankie Kazarian vs. Sheldon Jean (pre-show)

The broadcast goes live at 8 pm ET from Toronto and will be available for streaming through IMPACT Plus, YouTube for IMPACT Ultimate Insiders, and Fite TV.

Josh Alexander accepted his defeat to Alex Shelley for the Impact World Championship, but it ate at his heart when his son asked where the title was. Alexander lost a piece of himself and needs to refocus to become the standard of Impact once again. He decided to find a partner to challenge the greatest tag team in Impact. Alexander recruited Zack Sabre Jr. as the greatest technical wrestler for action against the Motor City Machine Guns. That match will be a great way for Alexander to set the standard heading into TNA.

The Motor City Machine Guns look forward to having an epic match to close the book on Impact. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley will prove why they are the best tag team in the world.

Trinity and Jordynne Grace are set to clash for the Knockouts Championship at Hard to Kill on January 13. First, they will team together to take on Deonna Purrazzo and Gisele Shaw.

Moose will challenge Alex Shelley for the Impact World Championship at Hard to Kill. In the meantime, he plans to settle a score by destroying Rhino.

Ace Austin and Chris Bey represent the Bullet Club as Impact tag team champions. Their next title defense comes against Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards. The challengers are new as a duo, but they are hoping years of experience in the tag team division helps them gel smoothly for success.

Show-stealer alert for “Speedball” Mike Bailey versus Trey Miguel. Trey was in a singing mood to deliver an ass whooping in his hype promo.

Tommy Dreamer is putting the Impact Digital Media Championship on the line against Deaner. 2023 was perhaps the worst year of Dreamer’s life, but winning that title gave him hope. Dreamer’s final resolution is to walk out with the belt and carry it into TNA.

Jake Something and Jason Hotch aim to build momentum with a win. Jake has been positioned with higher potential for a push, while Hotch is clawing to climb out of jobber territory.

Frankie Kazarian plans to teach young Sheldon Jean a lesson in respect on the pre-show.

The overall build to Final Resolution was phoned in by Impact as their attention is primarily on moving forward for the change to TNA. This show is light on compelling stories, but the wrestling should deliver a high standard of quality inside the ring.
