This week the honors went to Match of the Year, Moment of the Year, Male Wrestler of the Year, and X-Division Star of the Year.

Match of the Year was earned by Will Ospreay versus “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

Moment of the Year was the return of TNA. Impact announced the switch back to Total Nonstop Action starting in 2024. Here is the artistic video revealing the change.

Alex Shelley won Male Wrestler of the Year.

Shelley claimed the Impact World Championship for the first time in his career. He has carried the gold for 203 days and counting. After dethroning Steve Maclin, the Motor City Machine Gun fought off challenges from Nick Aldis, Brian Myers, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Josh Alexander, and Jonathan Gresham.

Bailey double-dipped into the pool of victory by also winning X-Division Star of the Year.

Despite current X-Division champion Chris Sabin winning the belt for the ninth and tenth time, the award went to Bailey. Speedball was honored for his overall body of work putting on consistently great matches throughout 2023. Bailey repeated the success from last year as back-to-back winner for both the X-Division Star and Match of the Year (against Josh Alexander).
