Just days ago, VICE TV aired an episode of “Dark Side of the Ring” that focused on the so-called “Plane Ride from Hell.” The episode went into detail on inappropriate behavior from many wrestlers on the trip, including comments from a flight attendant alleging she was sexually harassed/assaulted by Ric Flair.
Tommy Dreamer was one of the guests interviewed for the show, and he defended Flair all throughout, downplaying statements from the victim and generally dismissing any claims of wrongdoing. In the aftermath of the show airing, Dreamer was suspended by Impact Wrestling.
Today, Dreamer issued an apology via Twitter:

“Regarding my comments on Dark Side of the Ring. It was never my intention to offend, hurt or victim shame anyone. I understand my comments were insensitive & could trigger emotions in someone’s own personal past. I do not condone sexual misconduct of any kind. I apologize to anyone I offended. From the bottom of my heart I am so sorry.”
