There was a lot of big Impact news over the weekend, but it happened on other company’s shows. After their main title changed hands on AEW Rampage, their Knockouts champion won AAA’s Reina de Reinas belt in Mexico City, and The Good Brothers had a Bullet Club staredown at New Japan’s L.A. show, Impact got back to putting together their own shows in Nashville yesterday (Aug. 15).

What was next for the newsmakers from the weekend? Christian Cage was only announced for Impact’s Monday & Tuesday tapings (his first title defense against Brian Meyers will be filmed this afternoon), but Deonna Purrazzo, her challenger for Aug. 28’s NWA Empowerr event Melina, and Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson were all on hand Sunday at Skyway Studios.

What did they do, and did anyone else come through The Forbidden Door? You can find out with these spoilers - which include matches from Friday’s Impact Plus-exclusive Emergence show - courtesy of Impact Asylum:

- Jake Something defeated Kaleb with a K in a no DQ match. X-Division Champion Josh Alexander confronted Something to set up a title match for Emergence.

- Melina def. Brandi Lauren. That was prelude to Knockouts champ Deonna Purrazzo and The Drama King to attack Melina. Trey Miguel made the save.
