Impact is coming in hot tonight after the buzz created by so many surprises at their Slammiversary PPV. Chelsea Green, No Way Jose, Thunder Rosa, Mickie James, FinJuice, and Jay White made their presence felt. Impact Wrestling will be continuing the momentum with James, White, Green, and FinJuice advertised to appear on television.
Mickie James arrived at Slammiversary to invite Deonna Purrazzo to be on the NWA’s all-women Empowerrr PPV on August 28. After Purrazzo insulted James and her trash bag, Mickie went Hardcore Country with a superkick to the mush. Backstage, Gail Kim reminded James that she’s not supposed to be kicking ass. To show her appreciation for Kim setting up the appearance, James wants to make it right.
EXCLUSIVE: "On Thursday, I'll come back and I'll make it right."

In the main event at Slammiversary, Kenny Omega prevailed over Sami Callihan in a no DQ title fight. Don Callis was not pleased with the violence dished out to Omega. Time to call the lawyers about Impact’s negligence.

The show ended with a cliffhanger as Bullet Club leader “Switchblade” Jay White shared a staredown with Omega in a tease between the Bullet Club and the Elite. A skirmish ensued, but the cameras already cut out. Viewers only heard quick commentary reaction. That footage will be aired on the BTI pre-show.

As for Sami Callihan losing the world title match, his outlook was rather lame. Callihan took solace in knowing he inflicted pain on Omega. He will count that as a win. That reaction does not fit with the story going in. The whole point was to bring the title back home to Impact. Talking tough after losing his specialty match makes Callihan look like an ignoramus.

The most intriguing promo from the bunch came with a Bullet Club teaser. Chris Bey kicked Rohit Raju out his locker room only to discover a Bullet Club t-shirt waiting for him. Could it Bey an official invitation to join?
