Impact Against All Odds full card: Tommy Dreamer returns for a street fight

New, 6 comments

Impact’s Against All Odds is full steam ahead for June 12. The card features Kenny Omega versus Moose in the main event for the Impact World Championship, three other title bouts, W. Morrissey on the warpath, and NJPW’s Satoshi Kojima entering the Forbidden Door. That’s not all. A late addition saw Tommy Dreamer return ready for street fight action.

The Elite was annoyed at Scott D’Amore’s ruling that Sami Callihan was next in line for a world title shot at Slammiversary on July 17. Don Callis had enough trying to massage the situation. It was time for the Good Brothers to do dirty work.

Scott D’Amore overheard the discussion of bounties and hits, so he proposed a tag match between the Good Brothers and Callihan with a partner of his choosing. D’Amore agreed that Callihan has no friends, so he made it more interesting by adding a street fight stipulation.

It turns out that Callihan actually had one person interested in teaming up. Tommy Dreamer united with Callihan over their hatred of Callis.

Dreamer has been out of action in an Impact ring since February, including a grueling battle with COVID-19 that made him feel deathly ill, but count on him when the chips are down and a street fight is in order.

The Against All Odds lineup runs 9 matches deep:

  • Impact World Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Moose
  • Knockouts Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Rosemary
  • Impact Tag Team Championship: Violent by Design (Rhino & Deaner) (c) vs. Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus

  • Rich Swann vs. W. Morrissey
