Slammiversary’s coming in less than two months. Just like last year, Impact’s already been busy teasing appearances by WWE talent whose non-compete agreements will be up just days before their July 17 PPV.
Since their first 2021 video for this seemingly annual gimmick, a few more names have hit the free agent market. Impact didn’t waste much time offering up a new teaser video that incorporates a few that would certainly grab headlines - although for vastly different reasons.
Here’s the newest clip, and a breakdown of the “Easter Eggs” we found this time:

- That rainbow-lit shot centered on the word “Dream” that lingers at the six second mark is certainly a choice.
- Fans of the wrestlers formerly known as Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake will want to take note of the flash at :19 of a the terminal screen displaying “FORGOTTEN”.
- Everyone will peep the “YES!” shortly after that. Daniel Bryan to Impact is almost certainly a pipe dream, but never say never... especially in the Forbidden Door era.
- We see a pair of blue and pink capital “I”s somewhere in between the faces of Impact veterans Mickie James and Chelsea Green, so maybe Hardcore Country and the Hot Mess will bring some iconic friends with them?
