Impact’s Hardcore Justice is coming quickly on Saturday, April 10. Scott D’Amore gave Tommy Dreamer booking powers, since the Innovator of Violence knows a thing or two about getting hardcore. Dreamer had already lined up a title versus career bout between Deonna Purrazzo and Jazz as well as a #1 contender women’s weapons scramble. On tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling (Apr. 8, 2021), he filled out the rest of the card with wacky ideas.
The kookiest is a Blind Games match between Brian Myers and Jake Something. Myers is wearing an eye patch due to a previous injury, and he went out of his way to attack Jake’s eye during the show. Jake requested a chance to get even, so the Executive in Charge of Wrestling booked a hardcore blindfold match.

Ace Austin, TJP, and Josh Alexander have been beefing in the X-Division. They all dislike each other, so Dreamer booked a triple threat tag team bout. Ace already has his partner in Madman Fulton. The twist from Dreamer is that Alexander and TJP will get to pick their own partners. As of now, those participants remain a mystery.

We can’t have Hardcore Justice without Dreamer getting in on the fun. Eric Young was up to no good with his Violent by Design faction. The two exchanged verbal barbs. Dreamer had enough and booked an 8-man Hardcore War, which is similar to a WarGames style of match. Young will have Joe Doering, Deaner, and Rhino by his side. Dreamer’s teammates have not yet been announced, but he has plenty of friends who wouldn’t mind getting hands on Young.

Within the Impact locker room, James Storm and Chris Sabin would be likely candidates. “Wildcat” Chris Harris could come along for the ride, but he was bloodily beaten up earlier in the evening by Violent by Design. There’s even the possibility Dreamer makes a call to some ECW pals.
Also announced were Luke Gallows versus Black Taurus and Shera versus Hernandez with chairs being legal.
