Big Cass has arrived to the Impact Zone, and he has a new name. The 7-foot tall behemoth made a surprise appearance on Impact’s Rebellion PPV.

Eric Young was scheduled to compete alongside his Violent by Design faction of Joe Doering, Deaner, and Rhino against Impact veterans James Storm, Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards, and Willie Mack. Unfortunately, Young tore his ACL. Instead of leaving his crew high and dry, Young found a replacement.

A backstage scene showed Young speaking to somebody tall. The mystery person was not ready to be indoctrinated into Violent by Design, so Young was giving this man an opportunity to make his mark. EY believed he had something special to show.

When it came time for the reveal, Big Cass stepped onto the stage. He was looking jacked with abs. Big Cass also had a new name. Introducing W. Morrissey.

Morrissey was a wrecking ball of destruction when given the light to shine. He ended up winning the match by pinning Mack on an East River Crossing sitout swinging side slam.

After the winning pin, Morrissey rained down punches onto Mack for good measure. The big man was full of aggression and ready to destroy.

Is Big Cass a good fit for Impact? Would you like to see him officially join Violent by Design or stand alone?
