Impact Wrestling is making history tonight (Apr. 25, 2021) at their Rebellion PPV. AEW’s Kenny Omega is crossing over to compete against Rich Swann in a winner-take-all title versus title main event. One man will leave the show carrying the AEW World Championship, the Impact World Championship, and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. That’s not the only crossover. The Good Brothers aim to regain the Impact tag titles from NJPW’s FinJuice. The show also features three additional championship bouts, a Last Man Standing contest, and more. Rebellion is available on PPV and Fite TV to start at 8 pm ET.

Quick results:

X-Division Championship: Josh Alexander won the title in a three-way against Ace Austin and TJP. Alexander hit a double underhook piledriver to pin former champ Ace. Badass match.

Big Cass debuted in the Impact Zone as Eric Young’s replacement.

Big Cass, Joe Doering, Deaner, & Rhino defeated James Storm, Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards, & Willie Mack. The finish came down to Cass and Mack. Cass trucked Mack with a big boot then a sitout swinging side slam.

Brian Myers defeated Matt Cardona. Cardona injured his knee on a leap frog. Referees surrounded the fallen wrestler. Myers lifted Cardona up for a handshake then snapped off a brutal clothesline. Myers hit a second hammering clothesline for the win.

Tony Khan requested AEW referee Aubrey Edwards ringside to ensure that there would be a finish with one man winning all the gold in the main event.

Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering defeated Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz to win the titles. Jazz was brought in to be manager for the babyfaces. Ellering powered through Hogan in the end with a butt buster.

Last Man Standing: Trey Miguel defeated Sami Callihan. Callihan hit a piledriver onto the ring steps then trapped Trey under the steel. Trey escaped out the back and under the ring to surprise Callihan with a cutter through a table. Trey reached his feet at the count of 9. Callihan did not beat the 10 count.

Impact World Tag Team Championship: FinJuice retained against Good Brothers. FinJuice escaped the Magic Killer for Juice Robinson to roll-up Luke Gallows for victory.

Knockouts Championship: Deonna Purrazzo retained against Tenille Dashwood. Kimber Lee saved Purrazzo twice from near losses. Purrazzo went for her armbar finisher, but Dashwood escaped. Purrazzo nailed the challenger with a big boot leading to a Gotch piledriver for victory.

After the match, Purrazzo, Lee, and Susan put the boots to Dashwood. Taylor Wilde returned to Impact to storm the ring and clean house.

AEW World Championship vs. Impact World Championship: Kenny Omega defeated Rich Swann. Swann went out on his shield showing heart and determination. Omega blasted him with violent V-triggers and the One Winged Angel to win the Impact world title. That match lived up to expectations.
