Impact’s countdown for top tag team matches will make you wince in pain

Whether you are a fan of TNA and Impact or not, this is one video everyone can enjoy. Impact put together a top 5 countdown for the greatest tag team championship matches, and the results are explosive. The number of violent collisions is both impressive and insane.

5. The Hardys vs Decay - TNA Bound for Glory (Oct. 2, 2016)
4. Lucha Bros vs Santana & Ortiz - Rebellion (Apr. 28, 2019)
3. Triple X vs America’s Most Wanted - NWA-TNA PPV #51 (June 25, 2003)
2. The Wolves vs The Hardys vs Team 3D - Impact Wrestling (Oct. 8, 2014)
1. Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money, Inc. - TNA Impact: The Whole F’n Show (Aug. 12, 2010)

I love how the video starts with a triple green mist. Vanguard 1 getting in on the act with poison mist protocol is priceless. The climatic carnage of a Side Effect on a barbed wire board, a powerbomb through a table, and a swanton off a ladder through a table made me think that will be tough to top, and yet the insanity intensified.

Fenix landing head first onto the stage from a Spanish Fly off a ladder gave me the heebie-jeebies. It has been almost two years since that moment, and Fenix is out there still tearing it up in the ring. Since I know everything turned out fine, I feel no remorse in rewinding to watch that spot repeatedly.

With so much furniture involved, the one move that looks most painful was just a super charged wrestling staple. I do not envy Christoper Daniels being on the receiving up of a guillotine leg drop from Chris Harris jumping off the top of a cage. That is one big ham hock driving down across CD’s chest.

How to you rate the list of Impact’s greatest tag team championship matches? What was for favorite moment in the video?
