NJPW’s FinJuice win Impact tag titles from the Good Brothers

A tag team from New Japan Pro-Wrestling now holds the Impact tag titles in their possession. David Finlay and Juice Robinson came, they saw, and they conquered the Good Brothers to win Impact gold.

FinJuice came to Impact looking to make a statement and earn respect across the industry. They planned to achieve such a goal by challenging the Good Brothers at Sacrifice (Mar. 13, 2021).

The power of Luke Gallows was the difference maker early as the Good Brothers worked to wear down Finlay. The hot tag made its way to Robinson, but Karl Anderson was too smart. Machine Gun dodged a running cannonball in the corner then tagged in Big LG. Gallows pulled his straps down and jiggled his pecs as a show of force. He flattened Robinson with a head kick, but Robinson stayed alive on the cover by getting his shoulder up.

Anderson knocked Finlay off the apron. The Good Brothers commenced pounding Robinson with a corner train attack then a suplex neckbreaker combo. Finlay made the save on the pin. The Good Brothers hoisted Robinson up for the Magic Killer. Finlay made the save again to prevent impact.

The action progressed with Anderson crushing Robinson on a spinebuster. Anderson went low waiting to execute a cutter, however, Robinson countered to a backslide. Anderson escaped, but space was created by Robinson to tag in Finlay.

FinJuice pounced on Anderson for a backbreaker flying elbow drop combo. Anderson kicked out on the cover. FinJuice clotheslined Gallows out of the ring. Finlay hit a slingshot plancha on the big man down to the floor. Robinson picked up Anderson in an electric chair position. Finlay took flight for a clothesline to complete the devastating Doomsday Device maneuver. 1, 2, 3, new tag champs.

FinJuice celebrated their glory.

FinJuice can now add the Impact World Tag Team Championship to their list of accolades, which includes winning the 2019 NJPW World Tag League and the IWGP Tag Team Championship.

How surprised are you at the upset with a NJPW tag team knocking off the Impact champs? Did FinJuice earn your respect?
