The IIconics are coming to Impact

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay are on the move to Impact Wrestling.

A few weeks ago, the duo formerly known as the IIconics teased their comeback date.

October 23 is going to be a stacked evening with Saturday night Dynamite from AEW followed by the Bound for Glory PPV from Impact. Those sly ladies worked up the chatter about which company they were heading to.

It all became clear as Impact’s Knockouts Knockdown special event closed with the announcement that the IInspiration are coming to Bound for Glory.

Royce and Kay were released from WWE in April. The former WWE tag champs and still best friends will have plenty of competition in the Knockouts tag team division. Rosemary & Havok stand tall atop with the belts. Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans work with the little big combo. Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering are a pair of powerhouses. Kimber Lee & Brandi Lauren are undead brides serving Su Yung. Those would all be interesting matchups, but the one I want most is with Tenille Dashwood & Madison Rayne. The IInspiration and the Influence would complement each other’s humor and style.

The current Bound for Glory lineup includes:

  • Impact World Championship: Christian Cage (c) vs. Josh Alexander
  • Knockouts Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Mickie James
  • X-Division Championship: Trey Miguel vs. Steve Maclin vs. TBD
  • Call Your Shot Gauntlet: Rich Swann, Brian Myers, Moose, W. Morrissey, and more to be announced

Willie Mack, Rohit Raju, and El Phantasmo will compete in a triple threat match to fill the last spot in the X-Division title bout. The Good Brothers proposed defending the Impact tag titles against the winner between Bullet Club’s Chris Bey & Hikuleo and FinJuice.

Do Peyton Royce and Billie Kay inspire you to tune in to Bound for Glory? Who would you like to see them wrestle in their Impact debut?
