One of the worst matches in history highlights Impact’s top 5 reality TV star appearances

Hot off the heels of the creative Wrestle House experiment, Impact is celebrating their most memorable reality TV star appearances. It features one of the worst matches in the history of professional wrestling.

5. Jenni “J-Woww” Farley
4. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
3. Jessie Godderz
2. Jenna Morasca
1. Johnny Fairplay

The crowd reaction to J-Woww and Ronnie shows how much a phenomenon Jersey Shore was. The fans went bonkers for Ronnie’s attack on Robbie E (aka Robert Stone). It probably helped that they had Robbie to work off as a heat magnet.

Godderz actually turned his stint as the boyfriend Tara (aka Victoria) into multi-year career with TNA. My question is if Taz actually watched Big Brother or if he used acting skills for his outburst of enthusiasm. The tag team of Robbie E and Mr. Pectacular as the BroMans turned into a guilty pleasure of mine back in those days.

Morasca truly is a survivor to parlay her Survivor fame into a PPV bout. Morasca versus Sharmell has the honor of being one of the worst wrestling matches in history. After watching the finish, I’m not going to doubt that infamy. At least Awesome Kong sent the crowd home happy with a running splash.

Another Survivor alumni took the top spot. Fairplay oozes sleaze. I don’t know much about him, but he quickly showed his worth as a weaselly heel in that brief clip. I popped when AJ Styles powerbombed him. The bonus highlight of Brian Urlacher pressing Fairplay out of the ring also put a smile on my face.

Do you agree with Impact’s list for most memorable reality TV star appearances? What do you rank as the worst match in wrestling history?
