Michael Elgin was recently implicated in several #SpeakingOut stories, and there are also past allegations of inappropriate behavior.
Impact Wrestling recently suspended him pending a review of the allegations. A few days later, Impact Wrestling announced that he will not appear on future programming. It was strange phrasing, because they didn’t outright terminate him like they did with Joey Ryan and Dave Crist.
Elgin addressed these allegations in a 10 minute video:
He says that victims of abuse should speak out and seek justice. Elgin then goes on to deny all of the allegations against him, ranging from sexual assault, to sending unwanted pictures of his genitals, to urinating on someone in the shower, to calling someone fat.
Regardless of whether or not you accept what Elgin has to say in the video, it sounds like he’s not happy with pro wrestling right now and plans to spend more time with his son.
