The week-long arm wrestling contest between Hernandez & Rhino will take you places you don’t want to go

Impact has been working hard to hype Slammiversary on July 18 with teases of multiple big star surprise appearances. Most fans are eagerly awaiting tonight’s go-home episode of Impact Wrestling hoping for a huge hint worthy of driving PPV sales. That’s all well and good, but the real draw for me is finding out what happens next in the epic week-long arm wrestling contest between Hernandez and Rhino. It is over the top.

It began innocently enough as Hernandez was wrecking fools and winning money in arm wrestling, then Rhino stepped up to the table.

That was the only scene on last week’s show. Don’t worry. Impact didn’t leave us hanging to wait an entire week. They posted daily updates of the intense clash.

If, like me, you wondered how Hernandez and Rhino will eliminate those liquids they consumed, the answer is here.

Imagine minding your own business in the stall and then you hear those loud grunts without being able to see what’s happening.

Remember, good hygiene is very important. Hernandez and Rhino demonstrate.

You didn’t think those two mammoth fellows would go without eating. Chow time.

What goes in must come out.

This morning’s update was the beginning of a field trip.

The absurdity of this arm wrestling contest is fantastic. Did anyone expect we’d be privy to Rhino dropping a deuce? I’m on pins and needles waiting for the climax. I’m also curious what the point is, because I have no clue where this story is heading. Even if it is just for comedy, I’ll still be satisfied since the style of humor is right up my alley.

In addition to an update on the arm wrestling contest, Impact will also feature a contract signing, Knockouts in 5 vs 5 action, and a mystery partner for Moose.

The Slammiversary card on July 18 at this moment is:

  • World Championship: Ace Austin vs Eddie Edwards vs Trey Miguel vs mystery opponent
  • Knockouts Championship: Jordynne Grace vs Deonna Purrazzo
  • X-Division Championship: Willie Mack vs Chris Bey
  • TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Moose vs Tommy Dreamer in old school rules
  • Tag Team Championship: The North vs Ken Shamrock & Sami Callihan
  • Knockouts #1 Contender Gauntlet: Rosemary, Nevaeh, Susie (aka Su Yung), Kiera Hogan, Taya, Tasha Steelz, Alisha Edwards, Kylie Rae, Kimber Lee, Jessicka Havok, Madison Rayne

Perhaps the conclusion to Hernandez versus Rhino will be added to Slammiversary.

Who are you putting money on to finally win the arm wrestling contest? What’s your guess for the purpose of this story?
