Impact has been promising surprises at Slammiversary on July 18 that will change their world. The list of teases range from Heath Slater to EC3 to Team Canada to Aces & Eights. Add Super Eric and the Good Brothers to the list.
The closing scene of last night’s Impact Wrestling featured a familiar cape.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Super Eric! Eric Young donned the superhero mask starting in 2008. He won the tag titles with Frankie Kazarian but were stripped when Super Eric refused to admit he was Eric Young, who was the original participant of that match.
The Flashback of the Week featured Eric Young winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Nick Aldis.

Could that be foreshadowing of a return to fight Moose for the TNA Heavyweight belt at Slammiversary? Or perhaps it could mean Eric Young will be the mystery opponent in the four-way main event for the Impact Championship.
I’m all for Eric Young to return, but I’m not so keen on it being in the form of Super Eric. At least not to start with. There’s time for those fun and games later. At Slammiversary, I’d prefer the version of Young as the man who won the top title.
Speaking of that mystery opponent, EC3 is a heavy favorite to be the man. He held a Facebook Q&A and was asked about Slammiversary. EC3 replied that July 18 is a great day for a fight. He will be fighting on July 18. Don’t take that as an official confirmation, but it seems as unofficially official as he can get.
Also during Impact Wrestling last night, there was a scene of Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore chatting on the phone with a couple of Good Brothers.
"Honestly a couple of good brothers like you will fit right in here."

The North will regret interrupting @ScottDAmore's phone call because they'll face @TheSamiCallihan and @ShamrockKen at #Slammiversary! #IMPACTonAXSTV @Walking_Weapon @OfficialEGO pic.twitter.com/qxrWVcxnrO
That is a clear reference to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Reports have surfaced that they are a done deal to sign with Impact. However, they may not appear July 18 on Slammiversary.
Which version of Eric Young would you prefer for his return to Impact? Who should the Good Brothers wrestle in their first match with Impact?
