Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were released by WWE months ago, and have been steadily promoting an announcement on their future for July 18 in the meanwhile. That would be the same night as Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view, which was promoted with a teaser that former WWE stars could be showing up at it.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is now reporting that very well could be the case, as Impact is “heavily pursuing” the duo to make an appearance on that show.
Per the report, Impact has offered a deal that would allow the two to work with New Japan Pro Wrestling at the same time, which would obviously be an ideal scenario. In addition to all that, it’s apparently entirely possible the two could be starting up a side promotion of their own.
This would seem to indicate they won’t be going to AEW but it’s clear Anderson & Gallows are in demand stars nonetheless.
