James Storm busted a beer bottle on Booby Roode’s head in Impact’s most brutal street fights

Impact is celebrating carnage and violence in their latest top 5 list. The most brutal street fights include a Con-chair-to, tables, thumbtacks, and a beer bottle.

5. Eddie Edwards vs Davey Richards - Impact Wrestling (Feb. 16, 2017)
4. Taya Valkyrie vs Tessa Blanchard - Impact Wrestling: Uncaged (Feb. 15, 2019)
3. LAX vs The OGz - Slammiversary (July 22, 2018)
2. Rhino vs Christian Cage - TNA Bound for Glory (Oct. 22, 2006)
1. Bobby Roode vs James Storm - TNA Bound for Glory (Oct. 14, 2012)

The signature moments were Davey Richards unloading a Con-chair-to to Eddie Edwards in front of Edward’s wife, Taya with a leaping double stomp through a table, Santana flying froggy to splash onto Homicide on top of thumbtacks, Christian Cage pounding a pile of plunder covering Rhino, and James Storm smashing a beer bottle on Bobby Roode’s head then superkicking him backward onto thumbtacks.

My viewership of Impact has been in and out over the years, however, there is one iconic thing I associate with the best of Impact/TNA. That is James Storm, Bobby Roode, and a beer bottle. I don’t know how many times they have broken glass over each other’s head, but those clips never get old. Every time I see a bottle shatter on Storm or Roode, it brings back all the emotion felt from their feud.

This top 5 list was inspired to promote a street fight between Eddie Edwards and Ace Austin on the next episode of Impact Wrestling, Tuesday night at 8 pm ET on AXS.

Tune is as Impact is on the road to Slammiversary, scheduled for July 18.

How do you rate Impact’s top 5 most brutal street fights? Which fights are missing?
