Impact’s top 5 cinematic battles has a WONDERFUL winner

Hot off the heels of the Boneyard match and the Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36, Impact Wrestling is reminding everyone of past adventures with a top 5 of their greatest cinematic battles.

5. Steiner & Mathews vs Park & Borash - Slammiversary (July 2, 2017)
4. Street Fight: LAX vs OGz - Impact Wrestling (Aug. 16, 2018)
3. Unsanctioned Fight: Callihan vs Edwards - Impact Wrestling (June 7, 2018)
2. Battle to the Death in the Undead Realm - Impact Wrestling: Against All Odds (Mar. 28, 2019)
1. The Final Deletion: Hardy vs Hardy - Impact Wrestling (July 5, 2016)

Impact has a lot of experience in this cinematic wrestling genre. They have produced comedy capers transitioning to a live fight, a gritty street brawl with drama, a grindhouse bloodbath, a cheesy underworld with emotion, and unbridled craziness between brothers. Even though some of the material is a miss, I appreciate the attempts at creativity. It opened doors for a level of viciousness I never expected to see in professional wrestling.

How do you rate Impact’s 5 greatest cinematic battles? Which battles are missing? Which techniques or concepts would you like to see borrowed in the future? How does the top 5 stack up to the Boneyard and Firefly Fun House?
