We already knew who the next inductee into Impact’s Hall of Fame would be. It was revealed in the ring while they were taping in Las Vegas last month.
But the episode with the announcement finally aired on AXS last night (Tues., Mar. 17), so now we can talk about Ken Shamrock without spoiling anything for the hundreds of Impact viewers out there.
We can also talk about how healthy the relationship is between the former-TNA and WWE. Footage from Impact has become almost commonplace on WWE Network specials and documentaries. It’s a two-way street, as evidenced by Shamrock’s video package including his time as a WWF Intercontinental & Tag champ, and his submission win over The Rock to become King of the Ring in 1998.
A legendary MMA fighter who blazed the trail for MMA fighters in pro wrestling - it is our incredible privilege to induct the first ever World Champion in IMPACT history - @ShamrockKen - into the IMPACT Hall of Fame this year.

Thank you to @WWE for the footage. pic.twitter.com/v9CUiK6oSe
The segment led to the World’s Most Dangerous Man being “blinded” by a fireball delivered by Sami Callihan in his latest hacker gimmick, ICU...
I'm back....

Who'd you expect...
Our society is flawed.
This system is flawed.
I'm the one pulling the stings now @IMPACTWRESTLING.
I'll burn it and all these false prophets to the ground... if need be. LITERALLY.

... but we’ll leave that for Manolo to cover in his Impact Recap & Reactions later this week.
In the meantime, congrats to Shamrock! And it’s nice to see a couple companies with a lot of shared history working together and not pretending the other doesn’t exist.
