Impact has a special event coming up on Saturday, November 14, so they needed to stack the card to make Turning Point enticing enough to view through the Impact Plus app. And stack it they did with two more title fights.
A Knockouts Championship rematch between Su Yung and Deonna Purrazzo was announced during last night’s Impact Wrestling episode. Afterward, the booker man went wild with an additional four matches. The Turning Point card now stands at:
- Impact World Championship: Rich Swann (c) vs Sami Callihan
- Knockouts Championship: Su Yung (c) vs Deonna Purrazzo in no DQ
- Impact World Tag Team Championship: The North (c) vs Good Brothers
- Moose vs Willie Mack
- Brian Myers vs Swoggle
Swann should be a lock to retain. It is too early to end his feel-good title reign. Su is likely to keep gold, but don’t count out Purrazzo. Her claims of playing chess in the ring are legit. Purrazzo should be able to concoct a game plan to utilize the no DQ stipulation to her advantage. The biggest question mark is the tag title contest. If there is going to be a championship change, I’d bet on the Good Brothers. This will be their first straight up opportunity at winning the belts.
