Impact Turning Point card finalized with James Storm back in tag action

Impact’s next special event is right around the corner on November 14. Turning Point had three title matches added last week, and now it has the return of James Storm in tag team action.

With Alex Shelley out due to injury, Chris Sabin aimed to prove to Acey Romero and Larry D of XXXL that he is still a stud in singles competition. Sabin was victorious over Romero, however, the large duo but the boots to Sabin after the match.

That led Sabin to ask a favor from an unlikely source. The camera pulled back to reveal James Storm.

Storm is itching for a fight, so he accepted Sabin’s offer to tag together against XXXL at Turning Point.

The current card for Turning Point stands at:

  • Impact World Championship: Rich Swann (c) vs Sami Callihan
  • Knockouts Championship: Su Yung (c) vs Deonna Purrazzo in no DQ
  • Impact World Tag Team Championship: The North (c) vs Good Brothers
  • Moose vs Willie Mack
  • James Storm & Chris Sabin vs XXXL
  • Jordynne Grace & Tenille Dashwood vs Taya & Rosemary
  • Eddie Edwards vs Daivari
  • Brian Myers vs Swoggle
  • Defeat Rohit Challenge

The women’s tag bout was added after Dashwood lost with Madison Rayne as her partner. Dashwood decided to ditch Rayne, swallow her pride, and ask Grace to join forces for the upcoming Knockouts tag team title tournament. Grace wants a partner she can trust, so this will be Dashwood’s opportunity to make a positive impression.

Turning Point will be available through the Impact Plus app. The show begins at 8 pm ET on Saturday, November 14.
