Impact Wrestling hosts their Rebellion pay-per-view (PPV) tonight (April 29) from the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The event is headlined by an Impact world title match between champion Johnny Impact and challenger Brian Cage with Lance Storm as the special guest referee. Also Tessa Blanchard faces Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim. LAX will challenge for the tag titles against the Lucha Brothers in Full Metal Mayhem. And Taya Valkyrie will defend her Knockouts championship against Jordynne Grace.

This show is offered on pay-per-view (in the US) and Fite TV (US and international).

We’ll update the results tonight as they happen, and feel free to use this space to discuss all the action with the best pro wrestling community on the internet - before, during and after the show.

- Ace Austin def. Petey Williams, Jake Crist, Aiden Prince, Cousin Jake, & Eddie Edwards in a six man scramble. Petey hit the Canadian Destroyer on Cousin Jake but Austin the rolled up Petey for the win.

- Impact announces a new app called Impact +. Will it replace GWN? Looks like it has all the content that GWN has so maybe?

- Scarlett Bordeaux def. Rohit Raju

- The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page) and Moose def. the Rascalz with Moose getting the pin on Dez. This was a fun match.

- Taya Valkyrie (c) def. Jordynne Grace to retain the Knockouts championship with Road to Valhalla. Taya worked over an arm the entire match that ended up costing Grace at the end.

- Rich Swann (c) def. Sami Callihan to retain the X Division championship via submission with a crossface using a barbed wire baseball bat. This was an oVe rules match (hardcore match) that saw such spots such as a piledriver onto legos and a piledriver on a propped up guardrail.

- Tessa Blanchard is cutting a promo backstage when Tully Blanchard interrupts her telling she’s going to earn her destiny tonight.

- Tessa Blanchard def. Gail Kim via submission

After the match, Tessa extends the hand Gail shakes it. The two hug and Tessa is very emotional after her huge win. Tessa leaves first and Gail has a moment in the ring as the fans thank her.

- Brian Cage def Johnny Impact (c) to win the Impact world title.

This was an over booked affair with Taya Valkyrie and Johnny Bravo getting involved. At one point, Impact superkicked Lance Storm. When Lance came to, he tried to DQ Johnny but Cage stopped him and delivered the Drill Claw for the win.

After the match, Michael Elgin debuts and powerbombs the new champion.

- LAX def. Lucha Bros (c) in a Full Metal Mayhem match to win the tag team titles. The finish of the match was Ortiz powerbombing Pentagon from a ladder through two tables full of tacks.

The four men and Konnan embrace after the match.

Some of the locker room comes out after the match to show their respect for these two teams.

That’s the show, folks! Thanks for watching with us!
