Also, Moose explains his actions, oVe & Sami Callihan take on the team of Zach Wentz, Trey Miguel, & Ace Austin, Petey Williams and Rich Swann have a rematch, the Desi Hit Squad face Grado & Joe Hendry, and who was calling King and Konnan?

We’ll be here at 8 EST when Impact starts, so come join us!

Rich Swann vs. Petey Williams

Matt Sydal walks out before the match starts. He makes he way to commentary. He speaks about opening Rich Swann’s third eye.

Rich tries to warm up the crowd at the start but Petey goes for a roll up. Doesn’t lead to a win but the match kicks up after this.

It’s an even match. Rich looks to be going well after hitting a 450 from the apron onto Petey on the floor when Sydal says “Rich is in trouble” and gets up. He starts distracting Rich shouting about his third eye when Swann is up on the top setting up for a move. By the time he delivers his top rope corkscrew splash, Petey moves and hits the Canadian Destroyer for the 1-2-3.

Petey def. Swann

After the break, Rich is pissed backstage. Sydal tells him the anger doesn’t serve him. He’s trying to show him the way. Swann tells him he doesn’t give a damn about his third eye and to stay the hell away from him

Desi Hit Squad (w/Gama Singh) vs. Grado & Joe Hendry

Joe Hendry’s song is about his “platonic love” with Katarina, with lines like “platonic love is possible” and “I think I’m in love with my best friends girl, but only as a friend.”

Desi Hit Squad get the jump on Grado & Hendry but Grado able to fight back pretty quickly. However when the match settles in, it’s Grado playing the face in peril.

Joe finally makes the tag and has to deal with both members of the Squad. He pushes one into the other and then delivers a fallaway slam to both at once. He tags Grado back in, who immediately misses a corner cannonball.

Hit Squad hits a combo knee to the face/sky high powerbomb to Grado for the win.

Desi Hit Squad def. Joe Hendry & Grado

Katarina grabs a mic post match and tongue lashes Grado for continuing to lose. She tells him she doesn’t love him but instead is in love with his best friend Joe. She kisses Joe but he pushes her away and asks her “What part of platonic love don’t you understand?” and claims Grado is his best friend. He tells Katarina that Grado isn’t the embarrassment... she is. She slaps him and storms off.

- Backstage, Grado tells Joe he didn’t see it coming. Hendry said he’s mortified he didn’t see it coming. He legit thought she wanted to plan a late night surprise party for Grado. He tells Grado he can always trust him, and they share a hug.

- GWN moment - when Bully Ray reveals himself as the head of Aces & Eights, the best stable of all time.

- We see a pretty creepy video of Su Yung and her minions preparing a casket for Tessa Blanchard with “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” playing in the background.

- Bobo is signing to Scarlett Bordeaux backstage. KM and Fallah Bahh interrupt. KM says they took her advice and they’re finally successful. He thanks her. She says she loves a man with power, a man who goes and takes what he wants. She would do anything for a man like that. She leaves and KM tells Bahh there may be something to that.

Eli Drake Open Challenge

He cuts a promo about how he’s trying to find someone to impress Eli Drake.

He gets a guy named Stone Rockwell who’s dressed like Indiana Jones.

Rockwell tells “Eliot? Elijah?” that he’s Impact’s first action adventurer. Eli asks him about his past adventures and he talks about time on a train in Budapest. Drake tells him he has a first class ticket on the Gravy Train.

Eli Drake vs. Stone Rockwell

Gravy Train. 1-2-3.

Drake def. Rockwell

- Fenix & Pentagon cut a promo. Fenix says that they always fight for each other. Pentagon invites Brian Cage to join them in a fight against oVe, but points out they’re the best with out him already.

- Moose, Austin Aries, and Killer Kross is backstage. Alicia Atout walks in asking Moose why he did what he did last week. Aries says she gets no exclusive and sends her on her way. Alisha Edwards storms in demanding answers. Aries says she needs to understand business is separate from the personal. He leaves with the two big men.

Su Yung vs. Tessa Blanchard (c) for the Knockouts championship

Su comes to the ring alone with no bridesmaids nor coffin.

Tess kicks Su in the back of the knee and then drop kicks her back. When she’s trash talking the crowd, Su puts on her nasty glove for the mandible claw and Tessa rolls out for a break.

When Tessa gets back into the ring, Su has a mini burst of offense but soon it’s back to Blanchard, who is controlling this match.

When Tessa can’t put her away with a second rope DDT, she grabs a chair. The referee stops her from getting in the ring with it. When she’s getting back in the ring, Su drop kicks her to the floor. She sets Tessa up on the chair and does a cannonball from the apron onto her!

This allows Su to finally get a decent run of offense.

She brings Tessa to the top rope... but Tessa delivers a top rope cutter! Both women down! Tessa crawls the cover but only gets a two count! Impact is going to break and this match is already very good.

Impact is back and these women are trading forearms in the middle of the ring.

Su able to set up for the Panic Switch but Tessa fights out and hits her Buzzsaw DDT for the 1-2-3.

Tessa Blanchard def. Su Yung to retain her Knockouts title

Wait... here comes the brides and the casket. Tessa stares down the bridesmaids and is attacked from behind by Su Yung, who hits the Panic Switch! Su drapes the championship over her shoulder and drags Tessa to the casket - and suddenly a random commercial? That segment totally wasn’t over.

Oh and we’re back and I guess Allie and Kiera Hogan helped? I dunno. Commercials ruined that

A Brian Cage video package was just interrupted by a movie and then cut back. Pop f’n up big tonight.

LAX meeting

We see King going to a meeting place. Konnan is already there. Three older gentleman are sitting at a table.

One of the men at the table said they can’t allowed this to go on. They say they can’t hurt a child. Konnan says he understand the G Code but King doesn’t get it. King claims he’s making the most money for them. They all cheated and stabbed people to get by but when he does it, he gets crucified? They raised a snake. Do they expect him not to bite?

The three elders discuss it. They says the ceasefire will continue until Oct. 14 in New York City (at Bound for Glory). Then it’ll be Santana, Ortiz, & Konnan vs. King, Homicide, & Hernandez.

Konnan tells King he should have taken him out long ago but he let his emotions get in the way. He tries to shake the mans hand, but King just leaves.

- Kongo Kong vs. Brian Cage next week, as well as Cult of Lee vs. Lucha Bros., and LAX in action.

oVe & Sami Callihan vs. Ace Austin, Zach Wentz, & Trey Miguel

Action is wild to start.

Jake Crist delivers some nasty kicks to Trey Miguel.

Damn, I didn’t realize how huge Dave Crist’s beard was getting.

Ace Austin finds himself trapped in the wrong corner but fights all three guys out. However, Sami catches him and holds him as the other two kick his head. All Seeing Eye for the win.

oVe & Callihan win

Post match, Callihan delivers a piledriver to Ace Austin. Dave grabs him a microphone. He says they’re the best trio walking the planet today. Jake continues to imitate him. He says this things with Pentagon and Fenix will never end. They’ll do this forever.

Sami says if Brian Cage wants to stick his nose in their business, they won’t forget it.

Moose’s explanation

Moose, Austin Aries, & Killer Kross come to the ring. Moose is wearing a gold shirt and silver pants and they are SHINY.

The crowd chants “douche” instead of “Moose.”

Aries introduces Moose. Moose says that Eddie Edwards has everyone fooled. He’s a liar and he’s going to expose him. He reminds Eddie that he was there when Edwards was having all his problems. But when he was in the hospital concussed contemplating retirement, where was Eddie?

Only man to check on Moose was Killer Kross.

Then Aries called him and told him he won’t be the #1 guy in the company if he keeps catering to these idiots. He thanks the champ for being the greatest man who ever lived.

Austin takes the mic and says that Eddie failed in his title match. And now he has a five star athlete like Moose who is directed by the mastermind of professional wrestling. There’s Killer Kross, who is also directed by that mastermind. And no one is taking that title from behind his waist.

Johnny Impact walks out to the ramp. He tells Killer Kross that he thought he was going to be a bit more ambitious than to be someone’s bodyguard. Aries tells Johnny he looks the part but he is the part.

Johnny says at Bound for Glory, it will be Austin Aries vs. Johnny Impact at BFG. Austin says why wait? Let’s do it now. He sends his boys out of the ring. Impact says he’s seen this movie before and knows how it ends. But Austin can join him on the ramp. Aries declines that.

When Johnny makes a comment about Aries having a small banana in his pocket, Aries runs at him. He seems to have the advantage until it becomes a numbers game. Then it becomes a 3 on 1 beat down.

Security runs out but Moose knocks them all out.

Aries and Moose grab chairs. One of them goes around the neck of Johnny and Austin hits that one with a chair, just like Eddie got last week.

That’s the show, folks. Thanks for watching with us!
