LAX/OGz brawl
The show kicks off with a backstage brawl between LAX and the OGz. It’s more in the empty bar/lounge area than truly backstage. They make their way into the empty coat room and LAX throws some hangers at the OGz. Ortiz gets a chair around his neck and run into the wall. Hernandez looks like he’s going to toss Santana down a flight of stairs when security tries to break it up. So they get beat up instead.

Desi Hit Squad (w/Gama Singh) vs. Taiji Ishimori & Petey Williams
Petey William is the face in peril for awhile.
He finally tags Ishimori, who is in with a double drop kick. He’s got some momentum but Rohit is able to fight back. Petey Williams runs in and this all breaks down.
After some chaos, Petey hits the Canadian Destroyer on Rohit Raju and Ishimori follows that up with a big DDT, which gets the pairing the win.
Ishimori & Williams def. the Desi Hit Squad via pinfall
Gama Singh is not happy with his boys outside the ring.

Pentagon Jr. video promo. He points out that he and Matt Sydal are both former title holders. Matt talks about the cosmos and the universe, but the only one Pentagon knows is a universe of pain.
Kiera Hogan and Allie are interviewed by Alicia Atout backstage. Allie is asked about Tessa Blanchard’s attack last week. Allie isn’t going to be distracted by Tessa again. She made a promise that she’s going to stop Su Yung from stuffing people into caskets. Allie wants a match next week. She doesn’t need a title match. She just wants to get her hands on Su. Kiera says Su Yung can bring everyone because they’re coming for her.
Austin Aries interviewed by Alicia backstage. The champ wonders what happened to Eddie Edwards, who he considered one of the most level headed man he’s known. Now Eddie is unpredictable and dangerous and that actually has Aries worried... just a little. But he’s still guaranteeing a win.
Joe Hendry and Katarina are trying to explain to Grado what happened last week. Katarina also points out that Eli Drake never tagged out, meaning Grado couldn’t beat Drake on his own like Hendry did. And Hendry is going to do it again next week.

Alisha Edwards vs. Tessa Blanchard
Alisha shows some fire early on, even with a kick to the leg that knocks Tessa down. But Blanchard is right back on the attack with a stiff elbow and a press slam.
Edwards is able to sneak a crucifix pin. Tessa kicks out and she kicks out angry, becoming even more aggressive.
Tessa tosses Edwards into the ropes and then goes for an elbow. Alisha moves and Tessa goes arm first into the rope. Alisha takes the opportunity to plant Tessa with a big move but is too worn out to capitalize.
However when both women are up, Alisha is finally getting in some offense. She gets a couple near falls on the bigger opponent.
Alisha delivers what looks to be a slingshot code breaker. But Tessa is right back up and suddenly hooks in the hammerlock DDT for the win.
Tessa def. Alisha
Blanchard grabs the mic after the match. She says she just made an example of Alisha. Now she has a message for Allie - she may have everyone else fooled but she doesn’t have her fooled. She claims the only thing Allie cares about is helping herself. Next week, if Allie is going after Su and that championship, then she’s coming after her.

Alicia interviews Matt Sydal. Matt says that he may have lost the material piece when losing the championship, but he still has the X Division champion spirit inside him. He’s happy to be able to face Pentagon tonight. He’s going to use tonight to try to open all of our third eyes.
GWN match - Petey Williams vs. Chris Saban. This is the Petey with long hair. After Saban wins, he’s attacked from behind by Big Sexy Kevin Nash.
KM is asking Fallah Bahh what happened last week. As they argue, Scarlett Bordeaux walks by and says “Looking good boys” and the watch her leave. (Also, Fallah only speaks in the word “Bahh” and KM understands what he’s saying.)
We see the Impact management office (from the eyes of the managers so don’t see their faces). The two kick some guy out for interrupting them but when Scarlett walks in, they have all the time for her. She tells them that she doesn’t feel comfortable getting into the ring because the other gals hate her. These guys are fawning over her. She asks for her own show (The Smokeshow). They’ll all for it.

Matt Sydal vs. Pentagon Jr.
Posturing to start - Pentagon does his Cero Miedo and Sydal his third eye shtick.
Sydal is able to work the leg of the luchador. But he can’t ground Pentagon for long. Matt rolls out of the ring and then crawls under it. When Pentagon follows him, Sydal is able to wait for him on the other side to deliver a kick to the face.
In the end, Pentagon Jr. delivers the package piledriver for the 1-2-3.
Pentagon def. Sydal
Right after the match, a video of Sami Callihan and oVe plays on the screen. Callihan is insisting one of the Crists shave their head but they are not having it. Jake finally agrees. Because he did, Callihan chooses Dave to have his shaved. He makes Jake do the honors.

LAX/OGz segment
Konnan, Santana, & Ortiz make their way to the ring.
Konnan says that his guys beat the OGz in their own match before calling out the OGz.
King responds from on top the balcony. He says that they may have won a match, a battle in the overall war. He reminds them of the beat down they gave them post match. King wants them to take their war to the concrete jungle. He asks if Konnan is afraid.
No match is made from this. Just continued posturing.
Josh Mathews said they’ll have a street fight next week so I guess they did make a match from that.
Also next week, Bordeaux’s show debuts, Hendry vs. Drake, Callihan vs. Fenix, and Allie vs. Su Yung.

Video promo from Jimmy Jacobs. He is insisting he’s a really good guy and that he was trying to give Johnny Impact a warning last week. He says he’s a good guy... but capable of very bad things. Johnny wants the monster? Next week, he’s got him. But then he calls himself the monster.
Eddie Edwards vs. Austin Aries (c) for the Impact world championship
Early on Eddie executes a throw and follows up with snow angels. This angers Aries, who slaps him. Eddie then insists on a handshake but Austin bails from the ring instead.
After the break, Aries attempts a dive but Eddie meets it with an elbow. With A Double caught in the ropes, Edwards finally gets that handshake.
Later on, Aries delivers a big chip to the chest of Eddie and Edwards wants more! But instead of obliging, Austin pokes the eye. Eddie delivers a Blue Thunder Bomb.
Aries locks in the Last Chancery and Eddie gets out by biting his finger. Aries is pissed. He goes and grabs the title. The ref takes it. Aries goes for the low blow kick. Eddie catches it and delivers a low blow of it his own. Only gets a 2 count off the pin.
The champ picks Eddie up on his shoulders. On a spin, the ref gets knocked down. Aries tries the title again - Eddie ducks and hits a double underhook DDT. The crowd counts till 7 but the referee is out!
Eddie picks up the kendo stick.... but hit the referee!?! He goes for Aries but Austin kicks him low. Aries goes for the brainbuster but Edwards escapes and hits the champ in the face with the kendo stick! Aries down!
Edwards then starts choking Austin with the stick.
But out comes Killer Kross! He grabs Eddie and delivers a Saito Suplex. He leaves. Aries back up. Brainbuster! 1-2-3!
Aries def. Edwards to retain his championship
Cross gets back in the ring and puts the calling card on Eddie to the approval of Aries. Looks like this is an alliance.
