Impact Wrestling Ratings (Aug. 16, 2018): Viewership rebounds but still struggling

@ImpactWrestling

The numbers are in for this week’s episode (Aug. 16) of Impact Wrestling, and viewership improved this week. The viewership went from 168K to 210K. It’s definitely an improvement from last week’s year low, but it’s still not that good given where their overall numbers sit (more in the upper 200Ks).

They advertised a pretty fully card this week, including a tag team street fight and Allie vs. Su Yung. They still ran up against preseason football, a game that actually brought in more viewers than last week by about half a million.

Next week they are advertising a Mexican Death Match between Sami Callihan and Pentagon Jr. They had one of the hottest matches at the Slammiversary pay-per-view so perhaps a rematch will pique the interest for some viewers.

The numbers from the last month:

  • This week: 210K / 0.06
  • Aug. 9: 168K / 0.04
  • Aug 2: 248K / 0.05
  • July 26: 299K / 0.07
  • July 19: 275K / 0.06
