The numbers are in for this week’s episode (Apr. 5) of Impact Wrestling, and viewership took a big drop after a month of improvement. The audience was 294K, all the way down from 399K last week. That’s a drop of more than 100K viewers.
Among the coveted 18-49 demographic, the number was down up to 0.06 from 0.1.
Compared to the last few weeks, this didn’t have a marquee main event. The main event was a briefcase vs. briefcase match between Eli Drake and Moose. While that match had some world title implications, this wasn’t like last week where two belts were on the line in the same match.
It’s also possible that they got lost in the shuffle of wrestling overload. With a bunch of indie promotions, including EVOLVE, running shows last night, Impact may have gotten lost in the fray.
They have advertised Taya Valkyrie vs. Rosemary in a no DQ match for next week
The numbers from the last month:
- This week: 294K / 0.06
- Mar. 28: 399K / 0.1
- Mar. 21: 362K / .09
- Mar. 15: 350K / 0.1
- Mar. 8: 325K / 0.07
